The Challenge
The design translates the exhibition’s investigation of doubled formats in modern and contemporary art into a wild posting experience. The objective was to communicate ideas of identity, perception, and visual duality at scale while maintaining conceptual depth for close viewing.
The Design System
The posters function as a paired object rather than two independent designs. Each features mirrored and inverted cracked-glass imagery, creating a dynamic dialogue of symmetry and opposition.
The fractured surfaces act as a metaphor for fragmented perception and psychological ambiguity, reinforcing the exhibition’s exploration of doubling as both a formal and conceptual device. Designed for wild posting environments, the pair maintains legibility at scale while revealing conceptual detail upon closer inspection.
